Dehumidifier Corporation of America (DCA) is a manufacturer of dehumidification equipment. When applied properly, dehumidification equipment can effectively remove excess moisture from the space and improve indoor air quality. Based on the demands of the application, dehumidifiers can be installed in either a vertical or horizontal orientation. When floor space is a premium, vertical units are ideal, but additional headspace is required. Horizontal units, however, are offered up to 30 nominal tons, and vertical units are only available up to 8 nominal tons. Regardless of the size or need, a DCA dehumidifier is shown to increase comfort level, increase air quality and reduce the possibility of mold, mildew or other moisture-related issues within the space.

• Relative Humidity Levels In general, indoor relative humidity levels should be held at 50% or lower unless the application dictates otherwise.
• Recirculating Dehumidifiers Recirculating dehumidifiers cool incoming moisture-laden air to its dew point as it travels through the cold evaporator coil, resulting in the removal of water from the air.
• Outdoor Air The process of removing unwanted moist air through the use of a 100% outdoor air dehumidifier before it enters the building. The 100% outdoor dehumidifier separates most of the moisture from the outdoor make-up air and then mixes with the interior building air.

When recognizing these key points, it is possible to have an ideal climate inside the building, any time of the year.
